Have you ever written a haiku? We opened this competition a few weeks ago, and there are already a load of entries, (see previous news links or click the wave picture to jump) but we aren't judging until we have 250 entries, so get involved people...
The rules are simple: a poem on three lines, with 5, then 7, then 5 syllables respectively. They were developed by the Japanese, and some people apply more rules, some less. Basically, we all crave a bit of structure in our creative lives, and the Haiku provides just that. Here's my first attempt:
My left glove is lost
Pinned poster at the station
But I’m not hopeful

We Love writing these and we would like to print one onto a T shirt. We thought we could get you guys involved too!
Here is your chance to write a Haiku on anything you like, and share it with the world. The winner will be paid £250 and their Haiku printed on a line of T’s, and 10 runners up will win T shirts too.

We will decide which we think are best.
