existential angst....

Click this pic to see what it's all about.

Garfield Minus Garfield is a site dedicated to removing Garfield from the Garfield comic strips in order to reveal the existential angst of a certain young Mr. Jon Arbuckle. It is a journey deep into the mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and depression in a quiet American suburb.

Fantastic concept from a smart guy who dared to see things a little differently.

And it has the consent of original artist, the legend Jim Davis.

Whilst on the subject of Garfield, we would love any feedback from you guys: We are thinking about producing a ##”London School of Lasagna” ## T shirt. Like an official shirt of universities and colleges etc. Is that funny? Please let us know if you would be interested in purchasing one - we’re not sure if it’s just too weird. But we want to make them - so if you want one too then drop us a quick line here.

brilliant. go for “the fun never stops when I’m around”. I’m not even interested in what Garfield is doing in the original, it can’t improve on the poignancy of the new, vacant strip.
