Handy hint from Yes No Maybe

Here's a quick way of finding out which New Era 59FIFTY cap is the right size for you.

You’ll need:

  • 1 head
  • 1 measuring tape (with inches on it)
  • 1 brain (a friend’s will do)

Method:

  • Measure the circumference of your head with the measuring tape in inches
  • Divide the result by pi and express as a fraction (to the nearest eighth). This should correspond to the appropriate New Era 59FIFTY size.

Example

Jonny’s head has a circumference of 23 1/8 inches. 23 1/8 divided by pi is 7.36091612, which expressed as a fraction is approximately 7 3/8. Therefore the 59FIFTY cap that is a best fit for Jonny is the 7 3/8. Easy.
